We do. How about you?

God tells us to have compassion on others who are less fortunate than us, not just in our words but in action.

He also tells us that what happens to us for eternity is more important than what happens to us here on earth.

So we are to do both. We help others, and we spread the good news about God's free gift to us--that we are saved and will join Him in eternal life through the death of Christ Jesus.

There is no greater compassionate gift we can give a homosexual than the word of God. It can lead them out of a life of homosexuality and toward God. To support a person's homosexual desires, telling them that what they are doing is okay with god, is not compassionate. It is like supporting an alcoholics' addiction, because he says he wants to drink, until he drinks himself to death. What a horrible thing to do to a person.
